It seems that Christmas gets earlier and earlier each year. We all know the drill… stores start decorating before Halloween, Christmas music has been playing for months, heck they even have “Christmas in July” sales. Even with all of these festive factors, December 25th always seems to creep up on me and my home feels under decorated.
As a kid the 25 days leading up to Christmas Day felt like an eternity. As an adult they seem to speed by while me and my shopping list struggle to catch up. The one constant that has remained over the years is my undying love for Advent Calendars. I can think of few things as satisfying as waking up each day, knowing there is a tiny chocolate surprise waiting to be discovered by you.
